Future Problem Solving engages students in creative problem solving. Founded in 1974 by creativity pioneer, Dr. E. Paul Torrance, FPS stimulates critical and creative thinking skills and encourages students to develop a vision for the future.
Students experience the excitement of creative thinking and the thrill of resolving complex problems with unique solution ideas when they participate in FPS.
Programs like Future Problem Solving allow academically talented students the opportunity to showcase their creative skills in much the same way sports showcase star athletes.
Future Problem Solving charters Affiliate Programs throughout Australia, South Korea, New Zealand, Portugal, Singapore, Thailand, Turkiye, and many states within the United States. For students in an area without an FPS Affiliate Program, FPS offers participation through the Open Affiliate program.
